  • Parts 1, 2, 3 and 4
    Parts 1, 2, 3 and 4 of the course are explored during our 6 days together. We will dip in and out of relevant items that can be explored in a group dynamic. Any items that can be covered individually will remain for you to read through at your leisure. Yin is all about the slowing down. The creation of space. The observation of everything subtle in the space and time we have created. I recommend that you take your time to navigate the course to get the most out of it. The following is a guide to navigate the course in 12 weeks following the end of our 6 day integration together. Of course, if you prefer, you can complete everything much faster. Suggested way to navigate Parts 1, 2, 3 and 4 Part 1 - Explore this over weeks 1-3 Part 2- Explore this over weeks 3-6 Part 3 - Explore this over weeks 6-9 Part 4 - Explore this over weeks 9-12 There are plenty of optional tasks to complete in the interim. The course is designed in this way to allow everything to sink in through time and space.

  • The Seasons//The Elements//Related Meridians
    Lessons and learnings on Seasons are best delivered within their Specific Season when first learning about 5 Element theory Yin Yoga. This is planned and curated purposely. This way we can really indulge in the sights, sounds, smells and energy of the season we are learning about and experiencing. Learning in this slow way in tune with the season supports us in our tuning into nature and aligning our energies with the energies of both the moon and the seasons. Because you have opted for our 6 Day Intensive rather than 12 Month Slow Integration Course, Season Specific sessions will happen out of season.
  • Posture Discovery & Journalling
    Throughout the duration of our 6 days together we will be exploring 26 postures. If you follow the 12 week plan, for the first 6 weeks of your course you might work with one posture a day or every couple of days for 5-10mins at a time. For the second 6 weeks of the course you might revisit the postures - approaching the posture for the second time with a renewed curiosity following from our deeper learnings throughout our workshops and online training platform. Minimum Required The minimum requirement for the course is 1x Journal entry for each of the 26 postures Holding the posture for 3mins + Later we will explore in more details what to include in a Journal Entry
  • Posture Journal Tips
    If you are approaching this over a 12 week period -It's important that this be a bite-sized task. If it becomes too laborious, you will be tempted to skip days. We suggest a large hard-backed copybook for this task as we try our best to stay away from digital! The journal simply contains the following Day, date, time The Pose Adaptations used 2 or three lines of observation. (Physiological or Energetical or Mental) Observation* The observation does not have to be planned, structured etc. Just settle into the pose and see what surfaces for you. No Expectations Minimal story Minimal judgement
