A 2 x Long weekend training certified by Yoga Alliance. Running on the below dates
18th, 19th 20th April 2025 + 23rd, 24th & 25th May 2025

Course Description & Objectives

Have you ever had to turn away students when they are pregnant?

Have you ever felt unsafe or uncertain when a pregnant person comes to class?

Are you fascinated by the physical and spiritual miracle that is birth?

Would you like to help people concieve, carry and birth new life with ease and support?

If you’re intrigued about when new life gains its soul then this is the training for you!

This is not your average 100Hr Prenatal YTT. Yes you will learn how to safely teach and empower pregnant students. But you will also dive deep into the ancient and wise Yogic Teachings on the origin of the soul. The best part? We’ll cover it all, from the science of new life to the spirituality of it.

This is a highly immersive training. It includes practical and many experiential elements, as once you’ve experienced Prenatal Yoga deeply, you can then learn to teach it. There is no requirement to have given birth or even plan to give birth, to be part of this training. All we ask is you have a keen interest.

This is an Immersion. A journey of discovery. We will explore, we will get into the nitty gritty, we will dance and laugh, we will celebrate, we will cry, we will hold each other, and we will re-learn.

About Your Trainer

Jeanie Jyanti

Hi I’m Jeanie Jyanti (she/her) of Alchemy School of Yoga. I’m passionate about taking yoga off the mat and helping others discover the many aspects of yoga and how you can integrate them into your everyday life. My desire is to preserve the ancient teachings of yoga, gifted to us from Mother India, and allow people all over the world to experience the immense benefits yoga can have on your modern life. I love combining yoga with my other passions of food and music.

Born and raised in Ireland my Celtic roots and love of mysticism lends to a holistic and varied interest in Spirituality. You will usually find me laughing, thinking about food, nerding out on biochemistry, singing mantra or spending time with animals!

In 2014 I accidentally discovered I was a business woman! I believe our natural creativity, nurturing nature and deep inner wisdom are super powers when it comes to business. I am the Creator of Yoga UnCorked PodcastThe Yoga of FoodRecipe Cards and Alchemy Collective  which is a networking and educational group using holistic tools to create more aligned businesses.

What do I teach?:

I teach Akhanda Yoga, Restorative Yoga, Yin Yoga, Chair Yoga, Community Yoga, Accessible Yoga, Pregnancy Yoga, Parent and Baby Yoga and Menopause Yoga. I teach yoga to suit all levels and abilities so the majority of my classes are for every one. I adore that yoga really can be practised by everyone in one space and I am truly passionate about creating an environment to allow people of all abilities to feel comfortable, challenged and supported. I regularly incorporate varied Pranayama practices, mudras, mantras and kryias in my practices. They can allow a deeper connection and self exploration and really take your practice to the next level.

Since 2019 I’ve been regularly teaching Yoga Teacher Trainings both within my own school as well as with esteemed Institutes such as Womben Wellness and Akhanda Yoga Institute

What do I do?:

I teach a variety of weekly classes, workshops, teacher trainings and student trainings.

Hosting Retreats and Events in Ireland, Europe and India from day long to week long these incorporate food workshops, kirtans (sacred singing circles), kryia experiences, yoga asana, pranayama, meditation and a lot more.

My Education:

I have been studying yoga for over twelve years and teaching yoga full time for ten years. I am a Studio Owner, Yoga Events Curator, Retreat Leader as well as a Yoga Teacher Trainer. Being passionate about education I strive to continuously inspire and educate all of my students, teachers and teacher trainees.

I have studied and trained under the joyous Yogrishi Vishvketu PhD of Akhanda Yoga in Rishikesh, India and I have over 800hrs RYT.  I’ve also studied with the sublime Usha Anandi of Womben Wellness, as well as Sally Parkes Yoga and Uma Dinsmore Tuli to gain over RPYT200 in Pregnancy, Post-natal, Fertility, Parent and Baby and Menopause Yoga. I am also deeply committed to making Yoga accessible to all and have studied with Jivana Heyman of Accessible Yoga School and have been heavily inspired by the work of him and his colleagues.

I am passionate about Yoga Education and feel strongly that we need to elevate the standard and authenticity of Yoga Teacher Trainings. I have taught on YTTs in India, Greece and Ireland and continue to learn through teaching.

I have worked in the corporate world of Pharmaceuticals for 7 years having completed my BSc Hons in Chemistry from UCC. However, I believed in yogic practices so much I left my full time, permanent, pensionable job (much to my Father’s horror!) to teach full time. I’m excited to help you discover these practices too.
