FFA arenas The update to RS3 Gold arenas is the most ineffective thing in Runescape. It came in an update that ended clan wars forever. It managed to reduce the amount of players in the arena and make it a boring experience. The arena is extremely dangerous. Request assistance - This was created because we couldn't trade items in order to create new ones, e.g. smithing armor to lower levels, air/law/etc running.
Capped trading- This is straightforward and will likely be rendered ineffective if changes are made. Gravestones were created to ensure that people would not trade in the event of their death and let them retrieve their possessions. DA tournaments- Was created to bring back staking, fails badly even after updates. Revenantswere originally designed to replace pkers but people were dissatisfied with their power. They are actually quite poor. However, they are too powerful in f2p.
Jagex can delete content. The old Bounty Hunter- A crater was created out of space, crushing all wildy old spots of pking like the big bone and the tiny bone yard.
PvP worlds- They've reduced pvp worlds over time to around two. DA tournaments- The previous one was removed, but replaced by some shizzlety crap that fails just as much. The changes made it difficult to conduct certain activities. Player owned shops- Shop sections of forums, businesses use to thrive money making for a lot of people. Running can be a great method for people to earn money, natures laws, laws, airs and so on.
Duel Arena- A way for players to make big money or even lose a lot of money. Trading- Self explanatory. Pking- Self explanitory. Merchanting- Used to exist, pretty much self-explanatory. It's still feasible however the technology is old. Trading hotspots: Varrock, Falador, all five worlds were always packed with trade areas various items.
I have just thought of ways to teach multiple skills to 99 and at the simultaneously make a huge income from it, in my opinion. I'm thinking of making it my aim to create 100k+ yew-longbows and then acquire 99 Woodcutting and Fletching. I've got the following "supplies" I'm looking to mine 100k+ pure essence - Convert the essence into Nature runes.
After I've gathered all the equipment, I'll flytch the 100k+ Longbows and then alch the longbows. After a great job, I will be rewarded by 70+mil and three 99s. It's really nice. I would like to know your opinion regarding my goals. Do you think it's a good goal? Or if it's a "In Your dreams", "Your out freakinyour mind" type of goal? Anyways please leave your opinions, and my Woodcutting level is currently at 96, which is a yews/hour ratio. I'm not sure how long it might take. Perhaps it will take 4 months.
This is the reason you should Beg
Here are the benefits of begging. While it might not be practical at first but once you've discovered a suitable woman, things will improve. Benefits: Being a gypsy doesn't impact your stats in combat. It's great since you can beg wherever you'd like.
99 years is the age i can guarantee that you'll have your typing abilities enough to handle chaos, and enough money to buy a goat(not charms), probly even extreme. Pro equipment, 99 mage and a range deending the way you use your money. Leather boots and the 42gp are among the most expensive beggers. No matter how advanced you are, most clients will give you massages back if they are professionals.
The slayer helm/ full slayer helm/ black mask can boost your cool factor by the form of a percentage. It can also help when you are begging. Saving money on investments in German software companies, or costly abilities like prayer could be beneficial.
The drawbacks are that it takes a lot of time to earn money, unless willing to hunt. This could lead to many assaults and beatings, but it's worth the effort. Once you can sniff out a religious type, you will begin to earn a lot of money.
I have been wandering around Runescape these last couple of days lost in the fog. What was what made RS great back when was the multitude of guilds and organizations that came out on their own without Jagex's intervention. This thread is dedicated for them and hopefully gets them back to the numbers once enjoyed.
